The Schola is an established part of the Rundfunkchor Berlin's support programs for ambitious and professional young choral singers. During a two-week intensive course, 20 to 30 young voice students are involved in the preparation of a large choral symphonic work. In addition, however, the young students will again present their skills separately in their own Tea Time Concert at St. Elisabeth Kirche.

This time they will take on the theme of "lamentation & consolation" under the direction of Justus Barleben. At the center of the program are the Lamentations of Jeremiah, which were set to music by the Renaissance composer Robert White, and which enter into dialogue with consoling music by Hildegart von Bingen, Knut Nystedt, Pierre de la Rue and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
