KONTRAKLANG is a concert series for contemporary music that reflects the diversity of Berlin's contemporary music scenes and is also a forum for current trends. KONTRAKLANG presents chamber music as well as new artistic approaches with which it enters into a continuous exchange, such as sound art, composer-performer practices, media-based artistic work and music theatre. With an eclectic and dynamic programme that will include different styles and generations of musicians and that takes gender equality into account, Kontraklang addresses an equally large and diverse audience.
