Call for Applications for the "School of Sharing: Intercultural"

We are looking for women who were born or raised elsewhere but are spending their later years in Germany.

Since September 2022, LISBETH has been home to the “School of Passing On.” This project honors the embodied knowledge of older women and serves as a platform for intergenerational exchange. Various practices in the fields of craftsmanship, knowledge of nature and plants, community building, and self-reflection have been shared so far. These have included workshops on singing, activism, instrument making, thread spinning, and journaling, as well as fermentation—and much more.

The School of Passing On is currently dedicated to the knowledge of women who were born or raised elsewhere but are spending their later years in Germany. What knowledge do they carry with them from their life experiences? What practices have accompanied them and become important to them in life?

If you are interested, please contact curator Alexis Hyman Wolff: lisbeth@elisabeth.berlin

Further information can be found on the LISBETH website.

The “School of Passing On: Intercultural” is made possible by a grant from the Fonds Soziokultur.
