Voices Festival: Dance Workshops
10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., and 3 p.m. each day
As part of the VOICES Festival 2024, the WORKSHOP SERIES offers a unique opportunity to engage in physical, artistic, and communal experiences. From somatically inspired practices in the workshop "Deep in woods" to immersive movement experiments in "Call.active Moves I & II," participants explore the body as a space for voice and collective energy. "Take care I & II" promotes tenderness and support in movement, while "Hyper Reality" explores hyperreal interactions. In the family workshop "Switch Lab," parents and children playfully discover new facets of their relationship.
Deep in woods: This workshop is inspired by somatic techniques, authentic movement practice, and artistic research. Level: Open level
Call.active Moves I & II: Take part in an immersive movement workshop in which the body becomes a space for an amplified voice and the manifestation of collective energy. Level: Open level
Take care I & II: We invite participants to experience the groove of tenderness, the empowerment of giving and receiving care, and the dynamics of support in movement. Level: Open level. Only 20 participants
Hyper Reality: Participants are invited to explore hyperreal interactions together and embody virtual bodily qualities. Level: with movement experience. Only 20 participants
Switch Lab: This is a family workshop where parents and children can experiment, observe, have fun, and get to know each other better. Levels: Open level for parents with children aged 9 and up. Only 20 places available
