Sonus Feminæ #6 - BEYOND THE VEIL II

On November 1, 2025, the SONUS FEMINÆ concert series will present the concert BEYOND THE VEIL II in St. Elisabeth's Church. This special event offers insights into the musical high culture of 17th-century Italian convents, with works by female composers such as Chiara Margarita Cozzolani, Sulpitia Cesis, and Raphaella Aleotti.

Under the direction of Iñigo Giner Miranda, the Ensemble Cité des Dames, together with the Cradle Ensemble and Stella Nostra, will perform in various constellations, creating a spiritual space that immerses the audience in the mystical atmosphere of the musical traditions of that time. An evening that brings to life the deep-rooted connection between music and spirituality.
