re:organ – LABOR FÜR NEUE ORGELKLÄNGE is a new concert series curated by Maximilian Schnaus, organist at the Evangelical Church in Weinberg.
As an organist and composer, he combines his classical training in church music with influences from electronic music, performance art, club culture, and experimental sound practice. These influences do not appear as quotations or stylistic imitations, but rather as an aesthetic stance: music as a physical experience, as a state that has an immediate effect on the body. At the same time, Lindwall draws on ways of thinking derived from algorithmic and systemic models. Individual parameters are set, processes are initiated, and consistently pushed to their limits.
With his album *Brace for Impact*, Lindwall creates a concentrated panorama that oscillates between gliding movement and clearly defined steps. Lindwall’s music is strongly shaped by process-oriented thinking. Sound fields build up, overlap, lose their balance, and change their form. Rhythm does not appear as a fixed grid, but as the result of friction, repetition, and temporal shifts. Harmonies shift, become saturated, distorted, or reduced to elementary structures.
