FrauVonDa//: "OrHive"

FrauVonDa// dives underwater—into a meditative yet unsettling kaleidoscope of hearing, seeing, feeling, and thinking at the limits of human perception, lasting several hours. Open, artistically designed discussion rounds between a community of international scientists, artists, and the audience alternate with visual art, sound art, free improvisation, and compositions by Wojtek Blecharz. The newly developed format invites everyone to become part of the Oder community. FrauVonDa// tells of existing and possible communities in and around the river in a unique, multisensory polyphony—between scientific facts, artistic fiction, and visionary discourse.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries in Berlin and the Free University of Berlin/Intervening Art.
